Director of Communications for Shamsul's New York State Assembly campaign in Queens. Leading all external messaging, press strategy, and digital content — building a cohesive campaign voice across social media, email, and print from the ground up.
Media Lead for The People's Plan — a NYC progressive policy coalition fighting for workers, tenants, and civil liberties. Produced rapid-response video and social content for campaigns including Make 'Em Pay (targeting $1.5B in unpaid corporate fines), full funding for DCWP, and the fight to veto Intro 175-B, a bill that would have given NYPD sweeping power to restrict protest near public spaces.

Field Lead across four boroughs for Zohran Mamdani's historic mayoral campaign. Managed canvassing operations across the Bronx and Upper Manhattan.
Brand and Media Lead for the WUL. Grew page reach to 400K monthly views through strategic video content and real-time game-day coverage.
Designed social media graphics and physical campaign posters for Jeromie Whalen's progressive congressional campaign challenging 37-year incumbent Richard Neal in Massachusetts' First Congressional District.
Producer and creator of Doomer Optimism — a podcast with 2,000+ subscribers exploring regenerative agriculture, sustainable community planning, and literature to nurture optimism in the face of contemporary challenges. Also produces and edits long-form video essays, including a deep-dive into the Tuareg struggle in West Africa and modern colonialism.
Research intern focused on building an advocacy dataset and interactive visualization of U.S. parking reform legislation. Researched 64 bills and laws across 22 states, producing a public-facing StoryMap that has since grown to track 89 bills across 26 states — with 34 laws passed nationwide. Also collaborated with the newsletter team to amplify policy developments and community events.
